Prior Brake Products warranties to the original purchaser of its products
that those products will be free of defective materials and workmanship. This does not
include defects caused by neglect, improper installation, maintenance or service.
Warranty Duration: Products for automotive passenger cars and light trucks are
warranted to the owner of the vehicle for which the unit was purchased for a period of
twelve (12) months from the original purchase date, or fifteen thousand (15,000)
miles after installation, whichever comes first. Products for commercial vans and medium
duty trucks ( 1 1/2 to 3 tons) are warranted for twelve (12) months or
fifteen
thousand (15,000) miles, whichever comes first. Air Brake Products for Heavy
Duty Trucks are warranted for twenty-four (24) months or two hundred
thousand (200,000) miles.
To make a claim under this warranty, the product must be returned to the store where
purchased with proof of purchase and the warranty tag. The warranty tag must be completely
filled out by the installer or the original purchaser.
During the above warranty period, the unit will either be repaired or replaced, or
credit issued, when the unit is returned.
This warranty does not include labor charges, or incidental or consequential damages.
Warranty Disclaimer: This
warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, expressed or
implied, arising by operation of law or otherwise, including any implied
warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event
will Prior Brake Products be liable for incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty has been drafted to comply with Federal rules issued under
the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, applicable to products manufactured after December 31,
1976
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied
warranties, incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions
may not apply to you.
Legal Remedies: This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
